Happy Wednesday My Beautiful Peoples :)
Welp.. after many hours stretched out over a couple months it was so awesome to put the finishing touches on this commission
for Dr. Gregory Lindsey. Since this fine gentleman collector inquired about the process involved in the creation I thought it would be nice to post the photos of the process. Aside from the actual application of paint to surface, (and the plethora of second by second decisions that go hand in hand with rendering), a great deal of time is spent visualizing, thinking and essentially... running a million different approaches in my head while staring at the surface for hours on end. Akin to running all of the computer programs designers use albeit inside my mind at ludicrous speed. So... there you have it. ...I think;)

Here's flix of some commercial poop I painted on Whistler Mountain recently for Crankworx.
(World's biggest mountain bike competition.) A bear visited the job site whilst I was away and tore up all my painting gear looking for food. Anyways...

So this floater pilot slapped me a low 5 while simultaneously giving me a cardiac arrest and a new haircut.

Our lovely mac decided to self-destruct iphoto and itunes a couple weeks ago.
As soon as it's fixed we'll be throwing up new poop like some greezy chimps in a zoo, ya dig.
Okay...
I've gotta pay the government a grand for taxes right.
Check this out though... the health care that my taxes pay, (the billions we been getting raped all our lives),
for say I gotta wait 9 MONTHS to get an MRI scan.
OR I can get one right away at a private clinic for a thousand dollars.
What an amazing outstanding beautiful piece of injustice
The doctor needs that MRI before doing surgery so as not to improperly butcher and screw me for life.
Also, the recuperation time is like... 6 months or longer.
It's already been 2 months and I need to get fixed NOW.
I gotta be able to work on the mountain in November and buy diapers, y'know?

Got to see a surgeon today, whoo-hoo!
I'm told an mri is only good to see if your acl is completely torn and
that I need to wait 4 weeks. Apparently if it is half torn I will eventually be able to start putting weight on my leg AND
a half torn acl can heal without an operation! So... I guess it's lots of crutches and lots of praying for me.
I'm going to be so stoked if it is only half torn and God hooks up some miraculous healing styles!
My wife is so awesome helping me out while I'm broken. Man...
it really sucked whenever I broke bones in the past struggling all alone. Hmpf.
Slightly consoling also is the utter lack of snow this winter.
I'd be losing my mind if I was missing powder.(shrug)

...and so does not getting proper medical treatment:(
After a flat landing on large jump Friday afternoon I heard a bad crunch in my knee.
A few seconds later the agonizing pain kicked in. Sat down, started losing my hearing and almost puked.
Had to get taken down in a patroller's sled and then drove to the hospital to hopefully get fixed.
So, after the retarded long wait that makes that whole title of "emergency" an oxymoron..
They do the x-ray, but NO mri and NO painkillers. Just... oh, come back in a week and we'll see if we can figure out what's going on with your knee then. Let me tell you something.. if you have a knee injury.. you NEED an mri to see if the cartelidge and ligaments are torn, period. All an x-ray does is check the bones. Which may or may not be useful if the doctor can read it accurately or, if the technician has the motivation to get a really good shot. Yes, I am thankful to have the x-ray and know the bones are okay. Thanx for that. BUT C'MON.. Hook a brother up! Get me fixed and make the pain go away!
(FYI: For anyone out there that breaks a bone and has to get a cast: If your cast doesn't feel "right" it isn't. You are going to have to go back and get another cast.)

My Beautiful Peoples... What It Is?!
Above is the title of the 3 pieces painted live for the respective messages preached.
Each are 4x8' mixed medium, 60 minutes painting time with some touch-ups afterwards.
The series was over a 3 month period therefore, one live-painting was rendered at a service in each of those months.
(Sept-Oct-Nov) Something different eh? No one-trick-pony here Bae-bae's... nooo sir;)
Throw confetti, run around in your tighty-whitey's, eat a pancake, GO!

Although, I am super stoked now to rock a piece with all of the critters I've had close encounters of a groovy kind with.
Y'knowhati'mnotsayin? ;) There is definitely no shortage of architorture walls downtown.

Couldn't wait any longer.
Here's the little graffito I did this past week with the video still to come:P
Roughly around 5 hours, kinda scruffy but whatever.
Inspired by a good handful of highly morally disappointing human beings I had the displeasure of dealing with this past year.
This was due primarily to our search for a new apartment that allows children and, a safe/spacious car for my mountain work and the family we is starting.
Hope this inspires what I desires in my fellow peoples.
You can feel the realness... hip-hip...
